It really uses the WiiMotes, something that I've found other games don't always do. If you don't mind burping, farting, or stupid humor, then this is a good game for kicks and giggles that doesn't require too much thinking.

Additionally, it didn’t mind making fun of both itself and the Mario characters it included. The mechanics were simplified while still allowing for lots of tactical innovation and exhilarating strategic moves. It demonstrated that an XCOM-inspired cover-based strategy game was a logical fit for Mario and Rayman’s alien Rabbids. While it initially appeared crazy to use the Rabbids franchise as the starting point for a Ubisoft/Nintendo crossover, the initial outcome, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, turned out to be one of the best games on Switch.
